Commonly known as therapy, Integrated Behavioral Health Psychological Services provides a wide variety evidence-based treatments for both adolescents and adults in Kalamazoo County and throughout the state of Michigan via telehealth.
What is Evidence-Based Interventions?
“Evidence-based” means there is a body of research (not one or two studies) showing the interventions (treatments) work. One example of this used at IBH Psychological Services is a manualized treatment (this means a protocol or manual was developed) is anxiety interventions for children aged 5- 12 called “Coping CAT.” The CAT manual is used for teens aged 13-17 years.
